All GUIP ambassadors have received informal training in the field as of November 2019. We are proud to now announce that the GUIP Ambassadors have now received formal training which entailed the following:
Certificate of acceptance
Use of Radios
Etiquette
Reporting protocols and platforms
What is a UIP and where do they fit in
The resultant outcomes are encouraging as we are already noticing a uniformity in approach to their duties and timeous reporting and registration of incidents within the area.
